The candidate must have relevant qualifications or
experience to follow the programme. The total study plan for
the Professional Bachelors Degree will be equivalent to 400
Credit Units (not allowing for credit remission). Candidates
attending Workshops, Seminars or Professional Training will
receive additional Credit Units. Candidates must submit a Work
Based Dissertation amounting to 30,000 words.
The Post-Graduate Diploma programme is specially designed
for experienced Management Staff and members of Professional
Institutions. The topic that the candidates choose must match
their career and personal development in enriching the
knowledge of education. The study plan for the award will earn
100 Credit Units. This will enable the MBA candidates to
reduce Credit Units by the same amount and will shorten the
study programme.
It is very important that the project leads on to the MBA
study plan and must be related to the candidate’s employment
or area of interest. The assignments/dissertations submitted
by candidates must have the essential element of management
disciplines. This will include People, Operation, Information,
Resources, International Market & Management, Finance and
Project Management. The work based assignments or
dissertations should have a conclusion and recommendation when
submitted.
Candidates applying for the Certified Masters Programme
must hold either a Academic or Professional Bachelors Degree.
The total study plan for the Professional Masters Degree will
be equivalent to 200 Credit Units. Candidates attending
Workshops, Seminars or Professional Training will receive
additional Credit Units. Candidates must submit a Work Based
Dissertation amounting to 50,000 words.
Candidates applying for the Professional Doctorate
Programme must hold either an Academic or Professional Masters
Degree and must submit a detailed CV stating their chosen
topic, supported by two referees, of which one must be from a
most recent employer or a person already holding a
Post-Graduate Qualification. For the total study plan for the
Professional Doctorate Degree candidates will be required to
submit a thesis of 80,000 words and to attend an Oral
Examination.
For admission for the Degree Diplomas, the Candidates need
to provide the following:
• To submit
the appropriate Application Form with Three Photographs..
• A detailed current resume/CV.
• A letter from the Employer confirming position held.
• Two testimonial letters from Professionals or
Academicians.
• Two non-related Referees.
• A Statement of Accomplishments and Professional Goals.
• Copies of Certificates & Memberships.
• Non-Refundable Registration Fee along with 50% of the
Programme Fee.
The course fees are payable, irrespective of the length of
time taken to complete a particular course. To make it
affordable, WIV permits the candidate to pay in two
instalments. The fees include administration, supervision,
documentation required for the completion of the degree
programmes and finally the issuance of appropriate awards.
Candidates are responsible for the purchase of any textbook,
