The founder of WIV, Prof. Ralph J Thomas, being the reformer of the Corporation of Executives and Administrators (CEA) since 1987 to 1996, has approached the current Executive Board of CEA to consider a combined awarding scheme, which will benefit the majority of working professionals internationally.

The Executive Board of CEA, as a UK accredited professional body, with long and hard deliberations has agreed to this unique concept awarding scheme. This special CEA & WIV combined awarding scheme was inaugurated in 2005.

CEA can state with pride that they are the first Professional Body in the UK to come about with this unique notion of visualising to offer professional memberships under one umbrella for various professions. The Council of CEA gives special privilege in recognising and offering memberships for the majority of Professional and Vocational achievements.

THE CORPORATION OF EXECUTIVES AND ADMINISTRATORS (CEA)

The Corporation of Executives & Administrators (CEA) was incorporated by Guarantee as a Professional Body under the UK Company Act section of SIC (92) with the code of 9112- educational, in the year 1981 September the twenty-first, in England and Wales, as a Accredited Professional Educational Organisation to award Professional Membership from any of the Faculties. It is a unique international professional body incorporated in Great Britain as a Non Profit making educational institution, providing UK Professional Memberships in recognition of each individual’s achievement in their area of profession.

The founders of CEA have foreseen in the early eighties the importance in recognising the Professional and Vocational Training Qualifications. To this effect the CEA have facilitated in their Memorandum of Article the concept of Faculties to offer this unique membership by recognising individual achievements in the area of their careers. The CEA have decided to Certify Membership of all Faculties with their specialisation.

At this juncture, CEA is honoured to state that their awards are Assessed & Validated by the Independent Assessors of the “UK Commission for Consistent Learning ” (UK-CCL).

The CEA can respectfully state that, they are the first unique Professional Body in UK to come about with this notion of visualizing to offer under one umbrella professional memberships for various professions. The Council of CEA gives special privilege in recognising and offering their membership under the defined scheme of Affirmation of Prior Experience & Learning (APEL) or Accreditation of Career Progress Development (ACPD). The CEA membership is open to any personnel who are employed by small or large firms, Industry, local & central governments, national industries & public utilities. Memberships can also be accepted by the submission of Assignments or Dissertations, with the prior approval of the Education and Membership Committee (EMC).

The CEA membership is offered under the special agreement as laid out by the firm affiliation with Westminster International Varsity (WIV) The partnership of WIV with CEA offers Combined Awards for any individual who seeks to endorse his/her prior learning and work experience into a award of Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Graduate Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma in their respective fields of profession.

If any WIV Diploma holders, who wishes to apply for the CEA Professional Membership, does not need to pay the exemption fee, as they hold the WIV Qualification. It is a direct membership scheme.
